- MeLoDy -

Melody here,
It's 3am in the morning and I am sitting on my chair + blogging.
I used to say GOOD MORNING people.
Exam Mode? FYI, I'm still not ready yet but I have to!
Everyone have no choice and the entire student needs to sit for exam.
Should I say it was wonderful? Just kidding!

I have to take a rest before continue my revision,
Maybe I need to talk with someone else?
Yes! My darling... (*^_^*)
Uhh, he is still at his brother’s house and watching movie with his friends.
So, it is okay for me to write something on my blog.

Can I do my very best for my exam?
I really don't have any idea on it but for sure GOD is always with me.
No need to worry because God will do the part that we can't do.
As long as I giving my very best, God will know my heart.

Suddenly,
Something came in my mind.

QUESTION: Is it okay for readers to read my blog? All is written in English and my English is bad.

POSITIVE ANSWER: Yes! I there is no problem about that. Some people may laugh on it but she/he might be able to even write in English as well. Everyday is journey and everyone still has to learn. Do not afraid for making mistakes but do not forget to learn from it.

Oops! It’s 03.16am. I need to study first.
I’m leaving!

Simple Words: PRACTICE MAKE PERFECT!

Sweet, MeLoDy.

Things you might didn't know about sleep

Sleep, sleep & sleep...
Me? Hell yeah! I like it damn much... (*^_^*)
I would like to share with you things about sleep.

Sleep is absolutely essential for every human being.
Despite scientists still not figuring out the process entirely, we still know a lot about this daily activity.

1. What goes on when you sleep?
    ~ Your brain recharges
    ~ Your cells repair themselves
    Your body releases important hormones

2. You need different amounts of sleep depending on your age:
     * Babies - 16 hours
     * 3-12 years old - 10 hours
     * 13-8 years old - 10 hours
     *19-55 years old - 8 hours
     * Over 65 - 6 hours

3. Men have dreams about other men 70% of the time, but women dream about women and men equally.

4. We can only dream about faces we have already seen, whether we actively remember them or not.

5. The “natural alarm clock” which enables some people to wake up more or less when they want to is caused by a burst of the stress hormone adrenocorticotropin. Researchers say this reflects an unconscious anticipation of the stress of waking up.

6. Dreaming is normal. People who do not dream generally have personality disorders.

7. 1 in 4 married couples sleep in separate beds.

8. The record for the longest period without sleep is 18 days, 21 hours, 40 minutes during a rocking chair marathon. The record holder reported hallucinations, paranoia, blurred vision, slurred speech and memory and concentration lapses.

9. It’s impossible to tell if someone is really awake without close medical supervision. People can take cat naps with their eyes open without even being aware of it.

10.  Dreams, once thought to occur only during REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep, also occur (but to a lesser extent) in non-REM sleep phases. It's possible there may not be a single moment of our sleep when we are actually dreamless.

Have a nice dream, Melody is going to bed.
Yawn..Morning!

Story for all of us!

A Gift of Love

"Can I see my baby?" the happy new mother asked.
When the bundle was nestled in her arms and she moved the fold of cloth to look upon his tiny face, she gasped. The doctor turned quickly and looked out the tall hospital window. The baby had been born without ears.
Time proved that the baby's hearing was perfect. It was only his appearance that was marred. When he rushed home from school one day and flung himself into his mother's arms, she sighed, knowing that his life was to be a succession of heartbreaks.
He blurted out the tragedy. "A boy, a big boy ... called me a freak."
He grew up, handsome for his misfortune. A favorite with his fellow students, he might have been class president, but for that. He developed a gift, a talent for literature and music. "But you might mingle with other young people," his mother reproved him, but felt a kindness in her heart.
The boy's father had a session with the family physician. Could nothing be done? "I believe I could graft on a pair of outer ears, if they could be procured," the doctor decided.
Whereupon the search began for a person who would make such a sacrifice for a young man. Two years went by.
Then, "You are going to the hospital, Son. Mother and I have someone who will donate the ears you need. But it's a secret," said the father.
The operation was a brilliant success, and a new person emerged. His talents blossomed into genius, and school and college became a series of triumphs. Later he married and entered the diplomatic service.
"But I must know!" He urged his father, "Who gave so much for me? I could never do enough for him."
"I do not believe you could," said the father, "but the agreement was that you are not to know ... not yet."
The years kept their profound secret, but the day did come ... one of the darkest days that a son must endure. He stood with his father over his mother's casket.
Slowly, tenderly, the father stretched forth a hand and raised the thick, reddish-brown hair to reveal that the mother had no outer ears.
"Mother said she was glad she never let her hair be cut," he whispered gently, "and nobody ever thought Mother less beautiful, did they?"
Real beauty lies not in the physical appearance, but in the heart. Real treasure lies not in what that can be seen, but what that cannot be seen. Real love lies not in what is done and known, but in what that is done but not known.

For Readers,
show your thanks to
your sweetheart..
" Mother, I love you! "
